Small beginnings lead to great things.
My Approach as a Doula
I believe birth works best when families feel safe, respected, & truly supported.
I’m not here to tell you how birth should go. I’m here to support however it does go. Whether your path includes a birth center, hospital, home birth, epidural, induction, or cesarean birth, my role is to make sure you feel heard, informed, & never alone.
As both a birth doula and massage therapist, I bring something a little different into the room. A deeper understanding of the body, comfort measures, & physical support that goes beyond just an emotional presence.
Birth Doula Support Includes
Prenatal Visits
This is where we get to know each other. We’ll talk through your hopes, concerns, birth preferences, comfort measures, & how you’d like your partner involved. By the time your baby’s birth day arrives you’ll know exactly who’s in your corner.
Continuous Labor Support
Once labor is established, I’m with you. I’ll help you navigate decisions, work through the waves, try different positions & comfort measures, & stay steady with you through whatever birth brings… expected or not.
Partner Support
Your partner isn’t sidelined. They are supported too. I help partners feel more confident & involved, while giving them permission to simply be present with you.
Postpartum Follow-Up
Once your baby arrives, we'll reconnect to process your birth experience, answer any lingering questions, & make sure you’re stepping into this new chapter feeling supported.
“I don't think I could have done it without you. You were god sent. You were available any moment & put everything you had into comforting me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being there & supporting me through it all.” - Kate C.

A birth doula provides emotional, physical, & informational support during pregnancy, birth, & the early postpartum period.
Before birth, we'll talk through your preferences, concerns, & anything on your mind. During labor, I'm with you. That looks like comfort measures, positioning suggestions, breathing support, & a steady presence through it all. I also help make sure your voice is heard & your preferences are respected. After birth, support continues. That might mean breastfeeding help, newborn care info, or simply space to process what you just went through.
Birth is unpredictable. Having steady support by your side can make a difference.

Studies show that doula support can lead to shorter labors, less need for pain medication, & fewer interventions. But beyond the research, it's about having someone who knows the process, can help you navigate decisions, & advocate for what you want.
If you're hoping for a birth experience that feels supported & informed, a doula might be exactly what you need.

Any time during pregnancy! The sooner the better. My goal is to build a trusting relationship with you before being present at one of the most vulnerable experiences of your life.
-
An abortion doula offers emotional, physical, & informational support to someone going through an abortion. I'm not part of the medical procedure itself. I'm there alongside you. If you're feeling scared, overwhelmed, or unsure, you don't have to go through this alone. My role is to be a steady, non-judgmental presence. That might mean answering questions, offering comfort during the procedure, helping you navigate the process, or being there afterward while you process how you're feeling.
No matter what you're going through or what decision you've made, you deserve to feel supported & cared for.
-
A cannabis doula supports women who choose to use cannabis during pregnancy. My role is to provide education, guidance, & non-judgmental support so you can make informed decisions for your body & your baby. This can include guidance on legalities, dosing considerations, & managing pregnancy symptoms like nausea. I'm not a medical provider, so I always encourage working alongside your healthcare team.
You deserve support without shame or stigma, & that's what I'm here for.
-
My goal is to be there for your birth. But if something unexpected happens & I can't attend in person, I'll still support you. That might mean virtual support by phone or video, providing a backup doula, or whatever else you need in the moment.
A note on refunds: my services are non-refundable. A lot of time & preparation goes into supporting you before birth ever begins, & that time is reserved for you once we commit to working together.
No matter what happens, I'll do everything I can to make sure you feel supported. If you have questions or concerns, reach out anytime.

A Bengkung wrap is different from the velcro wraps you might find at a store. It's a long woven cloth, traditionally used for centuries, that's wrapped around your body in a specific technique. This method offers gentle, even support for your core & helps ease swelling, improve posture, & support healing after birth. Many people also find it supports breastfeeding comfort.
It's a simple, time-honored practice that can be a really comforting part of your postpartum care, & something special I'm able to offer.
